This was my submission for the Coinbase x Global Career Accelerator Early Talent Competition. This slide deck was made to showcase a new Web3 tool for assisting young creators.
the problem
The challenge was to create a pitch deck that used blockchain, crypto, or Web3 to:
Make financial tools easier to access
Help people control or own what they create online
Include more people in the economy or digital space
We had around 3 days to create and submit before the deadline and award ceremony.
target market
I wanted to create something I could see myself using in my current situation, so I chose to target young freelancers/creators just starting in their careers. Millions of people around the world choose self-employment after struggling in the workforce, so I wanted to create a lifelong tool that would also act as a companion during this journey.
my role
I created Inkcrypt, a Web3 smart wallet and career companion designed for young creators. Inkcrypt includes four core features:
A smart wallet for sending and receiving cryptocurrency
Stamped content that automatically saves to a personal career portfolio
An AI companion for support and feedback
“Earn as You Learn” courses that teach the basics of Web3, crypto, and blockchain
I decided to make all of the elements on Figma not just to practice my UI skills but also give the viewer a basic idea of how the app would work inside of Coinbase.
what I learned
When I found out I didn’t win any of the prizes, I was absolutely devastated. My first reaction was to say, “I knew I couldn’t do it,” and blame myself. However, for the first time, I chose to see things as a learning moment. Looking at the prize winners made me realize how much I had held myself back. Still, I felt proud of what I accomplished in just 3 days! It was the first time I had ever done anything like this.
This project ended up motivating me even more. It made me want to keep creating new concepts and challenge my creativity even further.
